How to train employees to work with new technologies

Introducing modern technologies into your company is only half the battle. The most important thing is that your employees can use them effectively. Even the most sophisticated system will be useless if people don't understand how to use it. That's why staff training is a key step on the road to successful digital transformation.

1. Start by understanding your team's needs

Before launching new tools, talk to your employees. Find out which tasks are most difficult for them and which features could really make their work easier. This approach will make training more practical and help get your team interested.

2. Teach using real-life examples

People find it easier to absorb information when it relates to their everyday work. Show how the new system will help them fill out reports faster, optimize costs, or control workloads. For example, at Agroprosperis Digital Solutions, training is based on real-life cases, demonstrating the difference “before” and “after” implementation.

3. Choose short and meaningful sessions

Instead of long lectures, it is better to conduct short practical sessions lasting 20-30 minutes. Each session should be devoted to one specific topic, such as “How to create an application” or “How to check balances.” This will help avoid information overload and gradually reinforce new skills.

4. Use videos and interactive assistants

Create simple video tutorials or an interactive assistant. A corporate chatbot can provide short tips or step-by-step instructions directly in the messenger. This allows everyone to learn at their own pace and return to the materials as needed.

5. Provide support after launch

After implementing the system, organize a support period—a hotline or chat where employees can ask questions. This will help avoid mistakes in the early stages and reduce resistance to change. It is also important to collect feedback to improve both the product itself and the training materials.

6. Demonstrate results and benefits

Show how new technologies affect work: time savings, fewer errors, increased productivity. When employees see real benefits, they perceive technology not as a burden, but as an aid in their own work.

Learning new technologies is a continuous process. The main thing is to combine technical training with attention to people, support, and understanding that behind every digitalization there is a person.
